As well as a senior advisor to Prosonix, Professor Rob Price from the 5* RAE rated Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology at the University of Bath, UK, and co-founder of Nanopharm, is research supervisor to 2 Prosonix sponsored PhD students working on new pharmaceutical technologies and particle engineering for improved medicines.

Professor Kevin Roberts of the Institute of Particle Science and Engineering at the University of Leeds, UK, is scientific advisor to Prosonix. Along with his colleagues Dr Richard Hammond and Dr Xiaojun Lai, Professor Roberts is involved with overseeing the work of PhD studentships where some sponsorship comes from Prosonix. This cutting edge research looks into the effects of ultrasound on a crystallizing system, understanding the science and principles of sononucleation and conceiving robust industrialisation. Moreover the work has impact on sonocrystallization as a process improvement tool and utility in Quality by Design.
