PSX1002 is a novel formulation of glycopyrrolate, a long acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA), being developed by Prosonix as an inhaled monotherapy in MDI for treating COPD.

Significant product opportunities exist for excipient free formulations in MDI or Force Control Agent free formulations in DPI, and novel dual and triple therapy via UMAX® multi-component particles.

Prosonix has shown improved drug only formulation performance using DISCUS® and UMAX® engineered glycopyrrolate particles of diverse morphology in both DPI and MDI and is planning its own Phase 2 clinical trials to begin in 2012.
