Prosonix is delighted that Pfizer have selected its ProsonitronTM sonocrystallization technology for primary API manufacture. Prosonix is involved with Pfizer Global Manufacturing with the aim of implementing our Prosonitron process technology at Pfizer's manufacturing facilities in Ireland. The equipment will be used in the controlled crystallization and production of a number of Pfizer products, and follows an extended period of collaboration and testing with Pfizer Global Research and Development in Sandwich (UK).
UCB Pharma
Prosonix is pleased that UCB (Braine l'Alleud, Belgium) have extended Co-Development and Licensing Agreement for the utilization of its proprietary sonocrystallization technology across a range of UCB pharmaceutical products. The renewal of the agreement follows successful Proof of Concept and Initial Proof of Process studies on two of UCB's lead pharmaceutical products and represents the culmination of almost 4 years of collaborative research and development effort between the parties. Prosonix has provided a bespoke multipurpose ProsonitronTM sonocrystallization reactor system that will be utilized in the cGMP manufacturing facilities at UCB's Braine l'Alleud site.
