work-with-usStep 1: Technical Disclosure under NDA

We will evaluate your problem under a Non Disclosure Agreement arrangement and prepare a fully costed proposal.

Often our customers select from a range of options resulting in a highly focussed project to maximise the chance of success and return on their R&D investment.

Step 2: Proof of Concept/Process

A short collaborative R&D project establishes whether or not our technology will have a beneficial effect on your product or process. This is carried out at laboratory scale either at our Oxford UK laboratories or your site. This stage can include the additional option to optimise the process. Costs are based on industry standard FTE rates.

Step 3: Pilot Trials

Appropriate reactors are installed on your site for fixed term evaluation, to successfully replicate the process at representative scale. The cost of the pilot trial is based on the rental cost of the ultrasonic reactor over an agreed time period, plus technical support as required. In addition, there may be a fee paid per kg of product manufactured using our Background IP in lieu of a full license agreement. The generated data and knowledge is used to calculate the full value added benefits arising from plant installation, and are shared fully between both parties.

Step 4: License, Technology Transfer and Supply

As customers will be using our patented Background IP which includes both reactor and process patents, a Licence Agreement is required. The cost of the licence agreement is negotiated in good faith on a product-by-product basis, after the completion of the pilot trials.

The Agreement also details the costs for the supply of sonoprocessing system for commercial scale operation.
